Soluta.Net helps organizations to migrate from a traditional software development approach to an agile model-driven methodology. This requires to consider the various dimensions of the organization: maturity, business domain, process, technology, size, architectural complexity in as AS-IS and TO-BE scenarios. To this extent, Soluta.Net provides an Assessment to understand the context and to draw, in collaboration with the customer, a roadmap for the adoption of the most proper agile modeling approach. In our opinion, each customer deserves a tailored solution that comprises (not limited to):

  • Product Lifecycle Management
    • Requirements and features
    • Functional architecture
    • Technical architecture
    • Models management
    • Model development and deployment
    • Bug and issue tracking
    • ...
  • Tools
  • Tools integration (e.g. a requirements management tool with a model editor, with a model repository, with bug/issue tracking tools etc.)
  • Training (See our catalogue).

When introducing a new methodology in an enterprise, we normally adopt an incremental approach: we start from establishing the maturity level of the company, which is our basis for the development of a road map and for the definition of specific objectives, based on the difficulties the company is encountering. For the advantages to be assimilated, our first objective is to make the organization achieve the first small, significant results very shortly. Based on these results, we will help it improving its maturity in the future.

The detailed solution is drawn via a set of interactive Workshops where our modeling approach is described, while at the same time gathering the customers' actual needs with respect to their (legal, organizational, technological, functional...) constraints.

Soluta.Net completes the MDA transition service with a Training-on-the-Job process to guide the implementation of the defined strategies. In this activity we offer a senior consultant in every phase of the process: architecture definition, analysis, modeling and development. The presence of our experts will not be continuous, in order to support autonomy.

The MDA Transition plan is more effective if delivered together with the CBSE Transition plan.
